Nuno Scarf

This is the nuno scarf I made in Lynn Craigie's class at Studio Mid Del. It was a fun class!

The scarf is very thin and light weight. It has black cheese cloth sandwiched between black merino wool roving on the back and a mixture of gray and black merino wool roving on the front. I added little strands of silver gray silk noile overlaid with purple merino roving. This is wet felted, I didn't use the Embellisher machine this one.

  • Very delicate! I have a friend who works in wool felt and makes coats & vests as well as small peices. I was amazed at how light and airy they are to wear. Too bad I can't wear wool next to my skin :(

  • My goodness ... you've been working in the studio and not on your blog!
You can add wigets/gadgets by going to the 'customize' menu. They have hundreds of items.
I chose the nano photography because nature makes wonderful abstracts!
